Barack Hussein Plants Tree

The 2008 Presidential election was marred by accusations that Barack Hussein Obama was a “Mooslim,” “Mohammedan” or an “Islamic.”  In response to the accusations, Barack Hussein Obama redundantly pointed out that he had been going to the same Church for almost 20 years and was a committed Christian.  He told Christianity Today, “I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian.”

Media personality Sean Hannity of Fox News was quoted as stating, “Barack hoped that if he kept repeating that he was a Christian it would be enough to extinguish the facts and questions creeping up about his associations and history as a Mooslim but we are uncovering leads in his Islamicness.”

Hannity is referring to new startling evidence that sheds light on the direct link between Barack Hussein Obama and what some call his “Mohammedan nature.” (more…)

I’ve been having a discussion on Islam, democracy, and some other subjects on sister Gess‘s website, at the same time I picked up a book by Professor Cornel West, “Democracy Matters: Winning the Fight Against Imperialism” that I borrowed from a good friend.

The book is about the importance of Democracy “matters” (used as both a noun and a verb), threats to Democracy matters both in America and around the world, the need to reinvigorate Democratic forces interlaced with historical background and shared experiences.  West declares that there are three nihilisms at work in American Democracy that need to be overcome: Evangelical nihilism, paternalistic nihilism, and sentimental nihilism. All I could think when they were trying to get Barack on his association with Louis Farrakhan was that they are going to go after Rev. Wright next so I thought I would put in my two cents about this whole controversy surrounding Rev. Wright and the Obama campaign.  First of all almost every single YouTube video is like a minute long and there is no helpful context or setting given to what are actually much longer sermons (this website The Truth About Trinity United does provide truth and context).  (more…)
