“And verily in cattle (too) will ye find an instructive sign. From what is within their bodies between excretions and blood, We produce, for your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it.” (Qur’an 16:66)
Allah has given us a lot in this world and we are told to ponder over His magnificent signs. Each verse in the Book is a sign indicating more signs in the Book of the Universe. The cattle that provide us with fresh milk are one such sign and something that in our industrialized world we take for granted. We got milk right there in the fridge but some one out there (at least back in the days) had to get behind that cow and milk it and it didnt smell all too nice.
Our souls some times have to go through the ‘dirt,’ the ‘filth’ and ‘excrement’ of this world to come out pure.
